The Hollow (Acoustic)
The Hollow is a dynamic alternative-rock band with a tightly focused sound that threatens to transform the pedestrian landscape of contemporary rock ’n roll. With thoughtfully layered guitars built upon a hard-driving rhythm section, their powerful music espouses beguiling lyrics and infectious melodies that evoke modern rock icons such as Queens of the Stone Age and Muse.
The Hollow has one definitive task on their agenda: to deliver exceptional music that makes people fall in love with rock ’n roll again.
Dan Aid (of Wiredogs)
WIREDOGS is an American punk rock band formed in Denver, Colorado in 2013. Wiredogs is Dan Aid - guitar and vocals, Mark Hibl - bass, Steven Beck - guitar, and Stefan Runstrom - drums. To date, Wiredogs has released two records, The Resistance EP, produced by Chris Fogal and mixed/mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room, and The Basement Tapes, recorded, mixed and mastered by the band at Stefan's house in Fort Collins. They have also been featured on the For The Love of Punk - Riot Fest compilation, and the KTCL 93.3 Hometown For The Holidays 2013 compilation. The band has shared the stage with The Bronx, Fucked Up, Pennywise, A Wilhelm Scream, The Ataris, Teenage Bottlerocket, Authority Zero, The Toasters, as well as played Riot Fest Denver 2014.
Ross Hostage (of Allout Helter)
Allout Helter is back with ‘Ruins’, a six song EP full of vivid imagery and brooding, thrashy riffage that furthers the bands’ reputation for pushing the boundaries of technical, melodic hardcore. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Black in Bluhm Music by Chris Fogal (The Gamits, Dwayne, Denver hero) and featuring artwork by long-time collaborator Doom Toof, ‘Ruins’ is Allout Helter’s heaviest and most dynamic material to date.
Whether playing sweaty clubs, DIY garages or alongside lauded touring acts, Allout Helter is always busy shredding whatever stage they’re on with their intense and engaging live show. With slots on festivals like Riot Fest Denver, Westword Music Showcase, The UMS and Summergrind, and as mainstay members of a music scene that most cities would kill to call “local,” Allout Helter continually prove why they are one of the most sought after bands in Denver.
‘Ruins’ is the follow up to Allout Helter’s 2013 full length 'Sinking, We Regress'. All music is available at http://allouthelter.bandcamp.com
