Dragondeer has shared the stage with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Shakey Graves, Drive By Truckers, Futurebirds, The Entrance Band, The Bright Light Social Hour, Hot Buttered Rum, Murder City Devils, Anders Osborne, Jerry Joseph, Sonny Landreth, J Roddy Walston, Linda Perhacs, Jarekus Singleton, Leon Russell, Steel Pulse, and Wovenhand +

The band has performed all over the United States and abroad with performance slots at festivals including: Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, Nacarubi Music Festival in Big Sur, California, Tour De Fat, South Park Music Festival, SXSW 2014-2015, The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase (The UMS), Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival, T-Bois Blues Festival in Louisiana, Arise Music Festival, The 24th Annual Grolsch Blues Festival in Schöppingen, Germany, and an appearance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater.
The Dendrites
Composed of eleven talented local musicians, The Dendrites have become Denver’s most prominent instrumental ska act. With a five-piece horn section and a six-piece rhythm section, The Dendrites create tightly performed, multi-layered music that harkens back to the golden days of 1960s Jamaican ska. The group initially formed over ten years ago, and have since built a solid following and dependable reputation. Their sound is classic yet progressive, powerful but without sacrificing fun.

The Dendrites have released two full-length albums – Mountain Standard Time, released in 2009 through Megalith Records, a 2011 self-titled collection of live and studio recordings, and 2013’s EP Fly Casual. They have opened up for acts such as Ozomatli, The Slackers, The Aggrolites, Fishbone, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Skatalites and a slew of other legendary groups. The Dendrites have seen a wave of success in 2014, with Westword Magazine’s readers voting them Denver’s Best Reggae Band. They were also one of five local acts to play Riot Fest Denver, a multi-city touring festival. The band continues to play their slick yet lively version of traditional ska. They remain one of the leaders of a growing new generation of American ska.
Lola Rising
Lola Rising is a Colorado-based Indie Folk Island Rock Band comprising of Denver natives Paul Medina Guevara (lead vocals, guitar, ukulele), Woody Roberts (bass guitar, keys, vocals), Kevin Eady (electric guitar, vocals, ukulele), Matt Fink (drums, vocals, percussion), Sarah Joelle Hoffenberg (vocals, keys and percussion), and Joe Z (trumpet).

Inspired from a song Paul once wrote about the passing of his `Lola` (means Grandmother in Filipino), coupled with `Rising` evokes images of spirituality and embraces the human condition. Their dance-able rhythms, honest poetry, and smooth melodic multi-part harmonies makes their music familiar, fun, accessible, vivid, and thought-provoking.

In late 2013, Paul returned from an eight year stint in Japan and joined forces with life-long friends Kevin, Woody (formerly played in the Denver-based reggae/rock band Optimal Frequency), Matt (formerly of the Flash Mob), Sarah (trained Jazz vocalist), and Joe Z (also of Zagriculture).

From the depths of musty parking garages & gangsters in the Tokyo underworld; to fly-fishing the Animas River & crossing the Great Divide, everything inspires us; Lola is on the Rise.
