Kid Vegas
Kid Vegas
Kid Vegas is not your average emcee; writer by day, performer by night, and hustler always makes up this Denver native. A current member of Get It Gang, Kid Vegas began performing as early as five, traveling with his family who were Pastor and first lady. Although Christian rap was his first exposure to hip-hop, it didn’t take long for Vegas to discover his favorite entertainer, Michael Jackson, as well as Jay Z, T.I. and Ludacris who encompass both his passion for music as well as his savvy in the business.

Kid Vegas’ artistry sparked from a motivational place and its only characteristic is versatility. Vegas can capture the mood of any sound and draws inspiration from any and everything magical that surrounds him. Constantly transforming his flow, Kid Vegas aims to be relatable to the masses speaking through effortless charm and trained street smarts.

Due to the success of Kid Vegas’ third project Addicted To The Life, which was originally released in 2013, he is repackaging the album with bonus tracks and new visuals for an August 31 release. However, Addicted To The Life Reloaded is only the beginning, as this fall Kid Vegas is delivering a follow up to Part 1 that will continue to circumscribe the many facets of life that make the journey both addictive and extraordinary.
With his name meaning a gift of God and taken from his father’s middle name, Nathan D. Palmer, known as NaPalm, was destined for great things since birth. Nathan first began singing in the angelic choir and soon moved on to the teenage choir where vocal growth began to show. Not only did Nathan sing in the choirs at Community Missionary Baptist Church, he also played the drums for three choirs and by age 17 had become an outstanding musician playing on the organ and piano. Nathan was beginning to also blossom into a dominant three sport athlete. He excelled in basketball, track, and most of all football.

Within Nathan's freshman year, he came in contact with producer/engineer K.Dawn, founder of 4 Moore Studios. K.Dawn took Nathan under her wing and helped develop his songwriting and vocal skills. By the fall of his sophomore year, Nathan had created a buzz by performing throughout the campus. In just his third year at NIU, Nathan distributed over 500 copies of his first mixtape entitled “The Offseason”. Besides "The Offseason”, Nathan had also recorded a single entitled “Vowels” that has already begun to circulate among college campuses throughout the country. He is now working on his first album due February 14, 2011 entitled "Lights Off".

Nathan is no stranger to the stage either. At the young age of 20, Nathan has done numerous shows including two NIU Apollo appearances as well as opening for artists such as Omarion, Soulja Boy, Trey Songz, and Drake at NIU. With the demanding schedule that NIU football places on Nate, he still finds time to chase his lifelong passion and dream, creating music that the world will hear as well as enjoy. Stay tuned for dates on upcoming album and single releases and also information on performances.
