Sadistik feat. Kno of Cunninglynguists
Sadistik feat. Kno of Cunninglynguists
Sadistik is not just another rapper, he is an artist in the most honest sense of the word. Hailing all the way from the scenic gloom of Seattle, Washington, Sadistik has quickly gained the hearts and ears of listeners by opting for a more personal and heartfelt brand of music by carefully circumventing the limiting cliches of rap music. By combining caustic honesty, clever wit and technical innovation, Sadistik has crafted a sound that he can truly call his own. While his writing style tends to be his signature, it not without the help of some of the most talented producers in the underground scene including multi-instrumentalist Emancipator, Blue Sky Black Death and Kno from The Cunninlynguists. From his work with such talented producers, Sadistik has created a signature of unpredictable and complex song structures draped with densely layered combinations of intricate sample work and live instruments that's more reminiscent of a Radiohead structure than a timeworn rap formula. Sadistik's collaborations are not limited only to the instrumental scene, however, but also some of underground rap's most revered wordsmiths such as Eyedea, Cage, Mac Lethal and Sage Francis, to name a few.

In 2008 Sadistik made his name with the provocatively fearless debut album "The Balancing Act." This record has been heralded by many critics as "hip hop's answer for winter albums" (SputnikMusic.com) for its fearlessly emotional potency because "after you are done listening to [it] you feel as though you have the world's strongest drug in your veins." Since this release, "The Balancing Act" has developed a cult-like following unapologetically complex approach and also marked the beginning of his work with Emancipator. Following the release of "The Balancing Act" was the release of the music video for the single titled "Searching for Some Beautiful" which was accepted by MTVu and well-received by fans and new listeners alike.

After the success of "The Balancing Act" was 2010's operatic opus "The Art of Dying" with Chicago-bred producer Kid Called Computer. Again displaying his relentless knack to stray from rap music's norms, Sadistik and Kid Called Computer opted to create a conceptually unique album more akin to progressive rock than what is accepted as hip-hop with "beautifully married gloomy progressions with [...] gorgeous chaos in the music" (RapReviews.com). Whether it be the grandiose live rock crescendo of "Save Yourself" or the nearly 8 minute epic tale of school violence in "Bed of Flowers," Sadistik showed that he was not aiming to meet expectations but to shatter them into as many pieces as possible with a sound that "goes inside of you and eats it's way out from the inside [...] by being beautiful and painful at the same time" (GutsandGrog.com).

Sadistik's efforts are not limited to recordings, however, as he can be found performing his intimate yet intensely energetic shows around his home of Seattle and around various cities in the United States as well as internationally. Sadistik has independently toured in nearly every region of The United States as well as nine countries in Europe including: Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, France, and Austria. Sadistik has also shared the stage with hip hop icons such as: Tech N9ne, Slaughterhouse, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Big Boi, D12, Cage, Eyedea & Abilities, The Grouch, Zion I, etc.

Currently, Sadistik is preparing his official follow up to "The Balancing Act" titled "Flowers for My Father" that will be released on Fake Four Records, as well as finishing a collaborative album with Emancipator and penning his first poetry book.

Trizz
Trizz
Trizz, born Arthur "Tre" Lea III, is a self-released rapper based out Los Angeles/Inland Empire, California. The young rapper became an avid music aficionado at an early age, first picking up a microphone at the tender age of nine. Growing up in the suburbs of the Inland Empire, Hip-Hop became a way for Trizz and his neighborhood friends to escape boredom and the simplicities of living life on the outskirts. As his writing skills developed, Trizz perfected his lyrical skill and began producing his own beats and mixtapes under the moniker "Young Trizz". His debut full-length EP, titled "Young Trizz", demonstrates the journey of an independent artist looking to lead ahead of the pack.

2012 marked a new start for Trizz, when Sacramento Horrorcore legend Brotha Lynch Hung took notice to him via Twitter. Lynch went on to take Trizz under his wing, taking him out on 2 tours, the "Independent Powerhouse Tour" with Tech N9ne and the rest of Strange Music in 2013 and again in 2014 for the "Sicc of Da Industry Tour" even giving Trizz two writing credits on his album "Mannibalector" with the song "MDK" and "Bacon & Eggs (Skit)".

Trizz has 9 self-released solo projects with the latest being "The Basement" released on March 15th 2019. Trizz has worked with artists such as Brotha Lynch Hung, G Perico, Rob $tone, Rittz, Twisted Insane, Futuristic, Bizarre of D12, King ISO, Mark Battles, Ces Cru, King Gordy and more.

Going Back to 2013, Trizz linked up with another Sacramento MC Chuuwee. Together they released the albums "AmeriKKa’s Most Blunted 1 and 2", the “Two Puff Pass” EP and the “Smoke Out” EP which received positive reviews being covered by sites like Complex Magazine, HipHopDX, Mass Appeal, Stereogum and 2Dopeboyz. The two have started a collective called "Break Bread Posse".

In July of 2016, Chuuwee & Trizz announced their new podcast on Strange Music's Dash Radio station "Independent Grind" called the "Game & Smoke Gallery" and can be heard every other Thursday.

As a live performer Trizz has been keeping quite busy, appearing on the Independent Powerhouse US Tour 2017 with Tech N9ne & Brotha Lynch Hung as well as the Hearing Colours European Tour with the CunninLynguists.

Now at the age of 26, Trizz is set to take the industry by storm completely independent with an outlandish and distinctive style.
Rafael Vigilantics
Rafael Vigilantics
Rafael Vigilantics slips back and forth between the sounds of anthemic guitars, driving synths, and silence-- like a wild dog who never knew there were lines between the things he loved. It’s the kind of music that makes you remember.

Big lyrics and stripped down beats. Sometimes reminiscent of old punk and other times carrying the weight and signs of early hiphop, Vigilantics’ vocals seem to cut through at any cost to tell you the story of how they got here.
Maulskull
Maulskull
Producer and lyricist Maulskull, best known for founding Denver based hip hop outfit Black Mask, has been making noise in the indie rap scene for more than 6 years. Both solo and with full band backing, he has toured nationally promoting his pirate hip hop. Maulskull has played hundreds of shows, sharing stage space with respected acts like Grieves, Pharoahe Monch, Gza, Mac Lethal, Asher Roth, Slightly Stoopid, Mix Master Mike, RJD2 and even 80's rockstars Warrant just to name a few, as well as full scale national tours in 2012 and 2013 with DJ Abilities (Rhymesayers), Sadistik (Fake Four), The Chicharones (Camobear), Louis Logic (Fake Four), Sleep (Strange Famous) and many more. Fueled by the success of the most recent solo album (2012's "Us & Them") and Maulskull's Death By Thr33s EP series, which offered up a new 3 song EP every week for 19 consecutive weeks, he took his live solo set out for the entire summer on Warped Tour 2012, performing on the "Bring It Back" stage and distributing free music (over 7,000 copies of "Us and Them) hand-to-hand. In 2013, Maulskull has been hard at work producing tracks for his friends Sadistik, The Chicharones, Mane Rok, Prime Element, Verble and his Black Mask partners Aklock and AGFlux. Maulskull is also producing two new records for long time friend and touring buddy, Sleep of Oldominion (SFR) and the first is scheduled for release in the fall of 2013. You can check out Maulskull's amazing body of work for free at blackmask.bandcamp.com and enjoy a roller coaster ride of collaboration with artists like Tha Alkaholiks, Moka Only (Swollen Members) Josh Martinez, Celph Titled, Louis Logic, Verbal Kent (Molemen), Sleep, Verbal, Sole, Sapient and Eternia to name a few.
